Bintan Island
Bintan Island is just 50 minutes by ferry from Singapore and Bintan Island is part of Indonesia so you’ll get a visa on arrival to holiday here and is really is a great place to have a beach break without adding in another flight to your holiday.
I got a taste of Bintan Island and was lucky enough to take a Mangrove Discovery Tour, ride elephants, swim, and squeeze in some pampering at a local spa. Bintan is great for families, with well equipped facilities, and many activities close by.
Bintan Island is having a building explosion with lots of new resorts, and shopping areas currently popping up – it’s definitely a destination to watch!
