Celebrity Solstice – Dining
Cruising all around the world is hugely in demand, and cruising close to home has become increasingly popular! I was lucky to visit the Celebrity Solstice while tendered at Akaroa in January 2019.

Cruising is a great way to have an all-inclusive holiday and enjoy the ship as part of the destination. Along with the pools, world-class theatre shows, and activities on board, one of the first things to come to mind when cruising is the food! Dining on your cruise is a major part of the experience and when you’re sharing a ship with 2850 passengers, you’ll be needing a variety of cuisine and a selection of restaurants to suit every mood.

The good news is that on Celebrity it’s certainly a mix or quantity and quality! With a range of options including buffet, a la carte in the Main Dining Room (sample menu below), café style, Asian, Japanese, Grill and even a specialty restaurant for the health-conscious. You’ll be making meal time part of your holiday experience! You can purchase specialty dining packages and beverage packages too. There are also a number of bars and social areas to enjoy on the ship.

I’ve cruised on Avalon, Royal Caribbean and Princess and loved the different experience with each cruiseline. This was my first experience seeing a Celebrity ship, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed with the dining options here!
